The islands that dot the reservoir make excellent picnic spots, or simply enjoy a boat ride around the lake, stopping by at the quaint, colonial era Warleigh church along the way. The best way to travel through the hill country is by train, but you also have the option of swooping in on a seaplane, and landing right in the middle of Castlereagh Reservoir, with transportation provided up to the bungalow.
