Leopard Safaris, Yala
Yala National Park is one of Sri Lanka’s most visited sanctuaries home to leopards, elephants, bears and bird. Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris is located right on the fringe of the park’s boundary, surrounded by tall trees which supply plenty of shade for the camping tents. Guests can opt between the sizable standard tents, the large family tents or the luxury lodges. During the day, go on a three-hour safari into the park in search of deer, crocodiles, elephants and the reclusive leopards. The safari jeeps are specially customized to ensure a great view, smooth drive, and are fitted with camera support points for professional wildlife photographers. In addition, guests can opt to explore on foot on one of the many trails around the camp accompanied by a naturalist. After a long day, relax in the salt water pool before sitting down for a delicious jungle BBQ prepared by gourmet chefs using fresh produce from the surrounding jungles.
