A 16 Day Tour

This journey opens up the spectacular destinations of the North and East of Sri Lanka, with surfing at Arugam Bay in the South-East and time in the forested hills of Koslanda, and Diyaluma Falls. The journey combines fascinating landscapes that vary dramatically to that of the rest of the country. Explore cultural heritage sites shaped by Buddhism, dive into turquoise seas, home to sunken Hindu sites and forgotten shipwrecks and enjoy the scenes of a simple and rural life away from the city. Visit Hindu kovils that come alive with drumming at pooja time. The cuisine is also a real highlight of the region; supersized crab and prawn curries, and other local treats include fragrant karthacolomban mangoes in season, and the Palmyra sweets that come wrapped in woven palm leaf parcels.
