Sri Lanka is home to over twenty National Parks, two with unique UNESCO World Heritage status. Spread all across the island, these parks are mostly untouched habitats that vary in terrain and climate from one another, and are filled with amazing wildlife. This journey ties in the most iconic of Sri Lanka’s nature, wildlife and cultural destinations. Starting at Wilpattu, in the Island’s North West, with its gorgeous forest canopy, then head inland into the interior to the Cultural Triangle to take in its ancient ruins, before climbing up into the Hill Country. From here, it’s straight into the jungles of Yala, the rolling plains of Udawalawe and a rainforest trek through Sinharaja before winding down by the sea.
