FAMILY ACTIVE SRI LANKA

A 15 Day Tour
NEGOMBO – PUTTALAM – KANDY – KITHULGALA – TALPE

Sri Lanka appeals to the adventurous explorer in kids. This active family itinerary combines some interesting off beat paths in the island’s lesser known yet stunning countryside and a back to nature activities. The days are filled with the contrast of luxury comforts in accommodation to living in mud houses, completely cut off from electronic devices. We’ve also woven in the wonder of engaging with retired and working elephants in an elephant sanctuary, plenty of time messing about on rivers and lakes in rafts and kayaks and finally ending with lazy days building sandcastles on a beautiful beach.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Village bike rides through local villages and paddy fields
  • Kayaking
  • Cooking classes to learn how to make a Sri Lankan rice and curry
  • Bird watching in pristine forests
  • Visit ancient crumbling temples.
  • Bathe and elephant at the Millennium Elephant Foundation
  • Get the adrenalin pumping with white water rafting on the Kelani River
  • Swim and surf on Sri Lanka’s best beaches
