Colombo is a positive melange of different cultures, at every turn it seems there is a different church or mosque or Hindu temple. This mix of cultures is also reflected in the diverse and delicious food that is served here.  On this tour, we take you on a journey by foot and the classic Sri Lankan tuk tuk through Colombo’s cultures, its religious places and vibrant markets. We visit Pettah, Colombo’s larges market whose lively streets and stalls sell everything from chocolate to textiles to bags to electrical items. And delicious streetfood.We will take you to Gangarama Buddhist temple, Seema Malaka on Beira Lake, the intricately carved Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil, Hindu temple, and  St. Anthony’s Shrine, a national Catholic monument. Pass by the old town hall, an eye-catching neo-gothic building and Kayman’s Gate, a Dutch bell tower, before finishing your walk outside Jami Ul-Afar Mosque whose exterior resembles a pomegranate!
